You are ace :) How do I get to be ace like you? And where did all your awesome wedding ideas come from?
Awww, thank you! I guess you get to be like me (and I’m not saying I’m ace) by finally learning to just be yourself and stop trying to be someone you’re not, to match what other people think you should say, or do. Hell, I even used to (unconsciously, I think) match my music tastes with whoever I was dating, to a certain extent, even though I wouldn’t normally enjoy that kinda thing!
My wedding ideas came from a number of sources - We had a fairly fixed idea of the kind of say we wanted it to be; even though we had a ‘medium’ size wedding we still wanted it to be a fairly informal and relaxed day.. We just wanted to make the day fun and easy going for ourselves and our guests! So we tried to think of ideas that would help people relax and have fun; silly things like a crossword in the programme, bubbles, crackers with toys and jokes and stuff in. Some of the ideas came from blogs online and one or two from wedding fairs and just looking at pictures of stuff. There were quite a few things that we looked at and thought, we can do that better and cheaper - like our guestbook which consisted of questionnaires and crayola markers! I guess the answer to your question is that they were a mix of inspiration from wedding website sand blogs, and also from my well cultivated imagination!
